Tokenized Assets Roundtable
Each Roundtable is a gathering of invited interested people, often with similar interprets or job titles. Providing the right format to explain the tokenizing of assets to a select number of invites.
 
In a joint partnership with local offices of CMS Law and selected industry partners these interactive discussions are established with the objective to educate investment professionals to successfully implement tokenization as part of their business, project, investment or fund strategy. 
 
The invited speakers will offering attendees the latest comprehensive insights on the entire process of tokenizing a real-world asset and on ways to create, issue, store, trade and invest in real-world assets. Tokenizing assets means lowering costs for issuers, but also improving transparency, efficiency and liquidity of real-world assets.

Jérôme specialises in banking and financial law and, in particular, asset management activities. 
He acts for a large number of French and international institutions in relation to financial regulations and collective investment vehicles. An important part of his work consists in advising on regulatory issues affecting credit institutions, funds and their managers and, in particular, on the distribution of financial products and investment services.
Jérôme is recognised for structuring innovative products (Fintechs, post-trade…). Jérôme is responsible for the Financial Services Group within the Banking, Finance & Insurance Department within CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats and co-chairs CMS’ Regulatory Practice Group. He was part of the AMF’ Steering Committee on the AIFMD.

After some years in Venture Capital and Private Equity he moved in the entrepreneurial space working as COO for Shop.co (exited to Klarna in 2017) and as CPO for Finleap. In 2017, he met Jesper Noehr and together they founded Upvest, with the aim of making it easier for everybody to build blockchain applications.
